Twinings deliver consistently good quality tea and at about £2 for 50 bags, you can't really complain. Compared to some blends which taste like they've been swept off the floor at the end of the day. If you like your tea milky (bleugh!) then this blend would be wasted on you but for those who like a good strong builders tea that is just a little bit more refined and robust than economy blends, this is for you. The box is very appealing with a black and gold design which draws you to what's inside the box and the smell and taste you are about to discover ! ...  Read the complete review

Time to get the kettle on, it’s Assam time!” It’s the same every morning. I slip on my silky robe, go downstairs, tune in to Radio 4, check the heating, gather the daily paper, put the kettle on, and while its coming to the boil, make a roll-up. Its Assam time. It’s the same every morning. I reach for my white, bone china, six cup tea pot and when the kettle is about to boil, I warm the pot and put seven heaped tea spoons of Twinings loose leaf Assam tea in, ...  Read the complete review
