Advantages: Healthy, Tasty

Disadvantages: None

I don't usually like blackcurrant, it is too bitter for the flavour to come through or too highly sweetened when used an an ingredient.

I loathe honey. The smell makes me heave and the taste makes me pull faces.

So why would I entitle this opinion so? Simple. For some reason unbeknownst to me, twinings have managed to produce an absolutely delicious, refreshing fruit tea without the yukky bitterness usually associated with blackcurrants.

I tend to like my hot drinks slightly sweetened but there is something so wholesome about this drink that dictates we should not sully the healthy nature by adding refined sugar. Honey, once melted into a nice, well steeped cup of blackcurrant tea, will sort out the slight oversharpness of the flavour and tastes absolutely heavenly.

At this time of year I start to get a bit of hayfever. Honey helps to sort out the symptoms naturally for me but I loathe the taste. With the combination of this tea I can refresh myself and control my hayfever all in one delicious cup.

I can heartily recommend this product. It is equally delicious cold, on its own or added to a fruit punch.

I love blackcurrant and I love honey - does that mean I won't like a combination of the two? ;-)

A good op although some more information on both price and looks/smell would help. Steve.

Bet your fingers are killing you (LOL)
May I ask whose faces you pull when you taste honey, and do they mind ?
