Advantages: nice to drink hot or cold help give you a boost during the day or night

Disadvantages: none

This is a Twinings tea that I regularly drink. I suppose it is a cross between a fruit tea and an herbal tea really.

How I drink it-
As with most herbal and fruit teas they recommend that you allow the tea bag to infuse for 2-3 minutes in hot water and drink it without milk. This is a fruity tea so I don't add honey or sugar to it as I do with some herbal teas as the blackcurrant too my palate is sweet enough. I allow water in the kettle to cool a couple of minutes before adding it too my cup and then after it has infused for 2-3 minutes I add cold water so that it is possible too drink straight away. Though they say to let it infuse for 2-3 minutes I actually most of the time keep the tea bag in the cup throughout drinking it as I find this gives it a deeper more refreshing taste.

I have also on occasions allowed this tea to sit and go cold and drink it cold with some ice and have found it too be very refreshing and invigorating to drink this way

The ginseng in the blend is for most people to help review them on days when they are flagging but ginseng where it has gained an almost magical reputation for being able to promote health, general body vigour, to prolong life and treat many ailments including depression, diabetes, fatigue, ageing. However I have only drunk it in teas so I can't comment on the benefits of this but the tea does help me through a night shift!

Ingredients
Hibiscus, Orange Peel, Orange Leaves, Blackberry Leaves, Lemon Peel, Rosehips, Liquorice Root, Ginseng (2%), Blackcurrant Flavouring, Vanilla Flavouring, Blackcurrant Pieces (1%).

This is available in boxes of 20 loose teabags from most supermarkets and health food shops. The last box I bought was from Sainsbury's and cost 95 pence

In summary this is enlivening tea with zesty blackcurrants, invigorating ginseng and aromatic vanilla, which isn't too heavy on the vanilla

Summary: a great fruity and herbal tea that will give you a boost
