As im on a little health kick ive decided to try and cut down on the caffine and replace at least one or two drinks a day with herbal and fruit teas. I hate camomile tea but for some crazy reason got this and was surprised. Twinings say: This tea is supposed to be a celebration of autumn. Its meant to calm you down and warm you up. The cost: A box of 20 bags costs £1.60 from my local supermarket and is widely available throughout the UK How to make the perfect cuppa: They suggest to leave the bag in for 2 to 3 minutes. I decided to cut down on my caffeine intake and start to drink herbal teas as a replacement. I went to my local shop and bought a box of Twinings Camomile and Spiced Apple tea, mainly for it's calming and reviving properties. PACKAGING It comes in a green box decorated with apples and flowers with the Twinings logo on the front. The cost is around 1.29 per 25g box. PREPARATION Place one teabag into a cup and add freshly boiled water. Allow to infuse for three to five minutes. TASTE The main ingredient is camomile at 82%, with spiced apple flavouring and apple pieces (1%) and cinnamon (1%). I have to ... Read the complete review

I will say that I have tried this one on several people and the response has been mixed - it would appear to be a love it or loathe it drink - if you like your camomile neat then clearly this isn't going to agree with you. If you don't like spices much, avoid it. It is sweeter than most fruit teas, and it does have what could be described as a sickly quality to it - There are a lot of flavours all at ... i would not normally use herbal teas but i thought i would try this one out, to my suprise it was very palatable in either a hot drink for cold days, or as a ice tea for summer days in the garden, i also found this product very useful in a fruit tea bread recipe my mother gave me, it blends well with the fruit to give a nice allround body to my cake try it for yourself, and enjoy, also very good alternative for older children rather than, the dreaded fizzy pop. ...
