... with twinings written in black across a gold strip, with it also showing the echinacea flower and raspberry on the front. As soon as I opened the box I could smell the raspberries straight away. Before I even poured the water over the bag the smell was just devine. I then poured the water over and stood back to let the tea stew for a few minutes. Once it was ready I couldn't wait to try it out so I took my first sip. I found the tea more sour than sweet (which the box advised it would be) to start with. So as...more

If you want a change now and again from traditional tea and coffee there are now a wide range of herbal infusions available in supermarkets which make a tasty and somewhat healthier alternative. Twinings have been making teas for over 300 years and not only do they sell traditional and speciality teas they have a very wide range of herbal and fruit infusions within their range. Twinings Echinacea & Raspberry Tea is one of their herbal infusions (infusion being a more accurate term than tea as strictly speaking these products aren't actually tea!) As the name suggests the ingredients within this particular blend are Echinacea and Raspberry. The ...  Read the complete review

BACKGROUND INFORMATION Some time ago I decided to try a new eating plan, which my sister Helen had recommended; this involved cutting out wheat, yeast, milk and all stimulants. I was trying to sort out my lack of energy and high blood sugar. It did actually work up to a point but it became too regimented for my lifestyle as a carer. Anyway during that time I tried a few of the different herbal and fruit teas to get an idea of what I like and dislike and this is definitely on the list of ‘likes’. So this was another one that got added to the ever growing selection in the kitchen cupboard! PRODUCT The name of the product is ...  Read the complete review

This review is based on my experience of drinking Twinings' Raspberry and Echinacea tea. This tea is part of the company's Fruit Infusions range, and contains fruity taste as well as the herbal effects in the form of echinacea. The Company Twinings is a company founded in 1706. It has grown over 3 centuries to the point where it supplies over 200 different types of tea, including regular breakfast tea, brown tea, green tea, herbal teas and fruit teas. Raspberry and Echinacea Tea The first thing you notice is that the box has a perforated strip allowing you easy access but also the opportunity to keep the box closed and fresh. ...  Read the complete review

90p for a pack of 20 tea bags in Tesco at the moment, but the price always fluctuates. Works out at £2.25 per 100gram...so it's more expensive than your usual own brand regular tea bags but its worth it. The raspberry flavour is delicious and you get the nicest aroma as soon as you open the box! The instructions suggest you make the tea as normal but do not make with boiling water because it is a delicate infusion. And obviously under no circumstances are you to add milk to this kind of tea! You can drink the tea hot or wait until it cools and drink it chilled maybe in the summer. I prefer my tea hot because I think it enhances the lovely fresh ...  Read the complete review

I have been at home ill after a major operation recently and I have been told to keep my liquid intake up. I find water pretty boring and in this cold weather it is nice to have a warm drink. My lovely husband went out and bought a shopping bag fill of different fruit teas. I am going to review them here, as I have had quite a few cups of each sort. It is amazing how different they can be. Happy reading! TWININGS RASBERRY AND ECHINACEA TEA This is a really fruity tea. I have tried raspberry leaf tea, which contains a lot of raspberry fruit, rather than the more bitter leaf in order to make it paletable. This tea tastes similar, as the raspberry ...  Read the complete review
