Advantages: Tasty

Disadvantages: None

I have been at home ill after a major operation recently and I have been told to keep my liquid intake up. I find water pretty boring and in this cold weather it is nice to have a warm drink. My lovely husband went out and bought a shopping bag fill of different fruit teas. I am going to review them here, as I have had quite a few cups of each sort. It is amazing how different they can be. Happy reading!

TWININGS RASBERRY AND ECHINACEA TEA
This is a really fruity tea. I have tried raspberry leaf tea, which contains a lot of raspberry fruit, rather than the more bitter leaf in order to make it paletable. This tea tastes similar, as the raspberry flavour is definitely the strongest flavour in the tea. Raspberries can sometimes be a litter sharp but this tea is really quite sweet. I do not find it too sweet though and with tea I do not mind it to be a little less sweet than other drinks. In fact, I like it a little bitter. This was not at all bitter to my taste but neither was it too sweet.

Echinacea is meant to have health-boosting properties. If you take it regularly, it can boost the immune system. I have taken courses of echinacea tablets, which have protected me against colds that have gone around the office. I am not sure if the tea has this super herb in enough quantity to boost your immune system. It can't do any harm though, hey?!

The tea is really dark pink in colour. It looks lovely and smells divine. For once, with this tea, it tastes as good as it smells and I will definitely be buying another box when this one runs out.

Boxes cost about £2 for 20 tea bags.

Summary: Highly recommended!
