Because I was studying in Brighton last year, at a bohemian 'we love fairtrade and organic' university, the cafes had a wide variety of herbal and fruit teas, including this one. While this particular tea is not fair-trade or organic, as far as I'm aware, it is caffeine-free, and therefore a healthier option than either coffee or ordinary black tea. At first I thought this tea was brilliant. It has a deliciously sweet taste and the slightly zingy aftertaste of actual blueberries. I was at a lovely conference last week where at each break we were treated to a massive basket of different teas to pick from and I spotted this one and was intrigued enough to try it. I have tried a number of the Twinings fruit infusion teas over the last couple of years but had never seen this particular variety. Now I have tried these I will definitely be buying some if I find them in the supermarket, the Sainsburys website does currently have them listed as available at 95p for 20 which is very good value in my opinion, working out at less than 5p a cup. Yesterday I wrote a review on the very pleasant 'Twinings Cranberry, Raspberry & Elderflower Tea', and the experience has inspired me to perform yet another tea-based write-up. Today it's the turn of 'Fresh & Fruity Blueberry & Apple', which is again a Twinings product.
