... Blend~ So having always drunk 'normal' black tea I made the switch to green, and I have to say I initially struggled with the brands I tried. No matter how hard I wanted to like the stuff, I didn't. Until I hit upon Twinings Green Tea Blend. Twinings is a UK company, set up in London in 1706 by Mr Thomas Twining himself. Frankly, the number of teas they now produce beggars belief and I'd never heard of half of them before (a mere 86 varieties are listed on their website http://www.twinings.co.uk/our-teas/). Premium Review A healthier cup of tea (Twinings Green Tea Blend) (840 words)

The Chinese apparently have an old saying 'Better to be deprived of food for three days, than tea for one' and, being typically British in my love of a good cup of tea, I couldn't agree more (although I'd rather not go without either if I'm totally honest). To me there is nothing better on a cold, disgusting winter day (today for example - gale force winds plus driving rain making for really pleasant conditions) than coming home, putting on the kettle and then sitting down to a lovely, hot, comforting mug of tea. I like my tea strong with just a splash of milk, and have always been a PG Tips girl, but I decided to branch out to trying green tea after hearing ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Great price, harsh tea (200 words)

I don't drink tea or coffee as it gives me migranes, so am always on the look out for alternative healthy drinks to have during the day at work. With winter drawing in I've turned my eye towards the hot drinks aisle. This week I picked up a pack of twinnings Green Tea. At £1.99 for 80 tea bags, I think it is quite reasonable. The tea bags are generously filled and realistically would do two cups or a small tea pot without any hassle. However I found the tea quite harsh. It is much heavier than most Green Tea I have tried, and tasted more like traditional black tea. The box does say 'Green Tea Blend' which might be an indication that there is traditional black ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Twinings Green Tea Blend: Green AND Black tea! Perfect marriage! (325 words)

In less than two weeks I have drank 80 cups of Twinings Green Tea Blend - I know this because the box is empty! I am sitting here writing the review drinking the last teabag, it feels quite an emotional moment indeed. Especially as I have no more boxes in my cupboard! I am not the biggest fan of Green Tea in the World. I enjoy Green Tea with a Chinese meal, but I despise Green Tea with lemon or anything else added to it! It has to be pure green tea or nothing. Looking through the shelves at Asda I found many types of Green Tea, Green Tea and Lemon, Green Tea and Mint, but no pure Green Tea. I took a step back and I saw Green Tea Blend by Twinings which ...  Read the complete review
