Advantages: Healthier for you.

Disadvantages: Price.

I really do like a cup of tea and drink quite a lot and as I take milk in my tea it means I drink quite a lot of milk too which I'm not too happy about.

I have tried herbal tea's as a change but really did'nt like any as I found the flavours a bit overwhelming so I tended to avoid them................ until I read on one of my favourite websites www.whfoods.com ( Worlds Healthiest Foods ) about Green Tea.

All the information you need on Green Tea ( and any other food ) can be found on this website and is really worth a look!

Apparently Green tea is a favourite in China and has been around for hundreds of years and has a wealth of health benefits which have been extensively researched.

Green Tea can be bought as loose Tea or as Tea bags,
and come in a variety of flavours.............Plain Green Tea or Green Tea & Orange ect.........
The one I'm reviewing is Green Tea & Lemon Tea bags.

The Tea bags are individually wrapped for freshness and have brewing instructions on the back of the wrapper.
Using one Tea bag per cup, and water that is just under the boil, brew for 2 minutes....... dont add milk!

The Tea is a light golden colour and has a nice aromatic lemony smell to it,
the taste is hard to describe but to me it's like a weak black tea only much nicer with a hint of Lemon,
but not strong like some just pleasantly light and refreshing.

I'm now drinking less milky black tea and drinking more Green Tea,
I dont know if it's by cutting down on the milk or by drinking Green Tea, but I do feel a difference,
and overall with all the health benefits associated with Green Tea it's got to be good for you!

A really pleasantly light and refreshing alternative to black tea or coffee and healthier too.
Green Tea contains only half the amount of caffeine found in coffee.
A nice drink to have after a meal or as a relaxing hot drink on its own.

Green Tea & Lemon ect comes in boxes of 20 for £1.18 from Tesco.

Plain Green Tea comes in boxes of 80 for £ 1.98 from Tesco.

Summary: A refreshingly healthy drink.
