Advantages: nice flavour, no milk needed, stays hot for ages, good coffee substitute, calms nausea
Disadvantages: may be a little strong for some
I love strong flavours and this tea is perfect for this. It has a very strong taste of ginger and I now drink it at work instead of my previous bucket of black coffee three times a day.
I started buying this when I was getting a bit of nausea in the mornings. Turns out I wasn't pregnant - just not a huge fan of mornings and it takes my body some time some days to adjust to being out of bed if I've had a late night the night before. I also occasionally suffer from IBS and in both cases this tea has settled my stomach and the nausea within an hour. The black coffee probably wasn't helping either!
I tend to leave the teabag in when I make this and then at the end of the cup you get a massive rush of the ginger taste. The lemon flavour is more subtle but it is there. The tea stays hot for ages as you don't put any milk in so it is good at work when you are rushing around as your drink will stay hot for longer. The flavour itself is quite full which I like as the weakness of some fruit and herb teas makes me feel like I might as well be drinking plain hot water. There is no caffine in this but it still seems to give me a kick, but without the horrible comedown later on that makes me crave chocolate!
In terms of the packaging, I also really like the cardboard box as the lid 'clicks' shut which helps to keep the tea bags fresh.
I've had a box of 40 on my desk for a month now and am just coming to the end of it so at around £1.75 a box it is much cheaper than even the subsidised tea that we get in the canteen at 10p a go!
Summary: Great coffee replacement and better for my digestive system
