Advantages: Very refreshing

Disadvantages: Can be too bitter if the bag is left to brew for too long

This is one of my favourite teas.

Packaging:
It comes in a pack of 20 individually wrapped tea bags with strings.

Smell:
When you open they bag, it's not immediately obvious that there is any promegranate in the tea as the fruity smell is very mild. However, once you wet the tea and dip it in the hot water, the smell of the fruit wafts up but still not particularly strong. This is a good sign that it compliments rather than overpowers the tea. The aroma of this tea is divine - a mixture of green tea with a slight hint of something fruity but not enough fruit to make it smell like hot Ribena!

Taste:
To me, white tea is very similar to green tea and jasmine tea in that the longer you leave the tea bag in the cup, the more bitter it tastes. So for this tea, it is the same - I tend to brew the tea for about a minute before the water starts clouding over. This is when it becomes really strong and bitter and to some people, could become quite unpleasant to drink. If you are one of these drinkers, I recommend you literally dip your tea bag in, count to 20 seconds and take it out.

In terms of taste, yes it is quite bitter but I find that really refreshing - it doesn't stick to the palette like other bitter teas and helps cleanse the palette after greasy food. It really does make you feel like you've cleansed your insides.

Overall:
The hint of promagranate is just that which is perfect because I hate fruit teas. A very refreshing taste and very enjoyable although, be warned, green tea contains caffeine so don't drink after 6pm!

Summary: Refreshing!
