My partner went to our local grocery store recently, armed with a shopping list (written by my good self) and instructions. The instructions were very simple - don't splurge on any unnecessary items, and keep costs to a minimum! Let's just say after our recent holiday, the pennies are a little tight until payday next week... So, on his return from the grocery store, my partner looked to be somewhat triumphant. This was due to him managing to secure not one but TWO complete and utter bargains. One of the bargains was a box of teabags. He smugly informed me that the 100 (one cup) teabags had cost him under a quid. I have to be honest and say ... Read the complete review

I have gone off tea just recently. I think I've just got bored with it. It all started when I stopped smoking and had to stop drinking coffee at home because I couldn't handle the weird I had made between coffee and a smoke! I enjoy a coffee if I'm out and I can have a fancy Starbucks one, but the rest of the time I drink tea. I've tried many different brands in search of one that I really enjoy but I still haven't found one I want to stick with. My latest trial is Typhoo One Cup Round Teabags. The brand name is well known, so I had no worries about choosing it. The box is red and yellow and contains two foil packets with 50 round teabags in each. ... Read the complete review

When I saw a category about tea here on Dooyoo, my eyes lit up and I had to celebrate. How? By boiling the kettle, of course and settling down with my favourite drink in the whole wide world – a cup of tea. There really is nothing quite like tea. I rarely drink coffee, pop even less often and not much alcohol either – the odd glass of wine from time to time, Bailey’s at Christmas. So tea sustains me, usually more than ten cups a day. Yes, I am an addict. I admit it. It was only last year that I found out though, I had been in denial until then. But in January 2000, I began to diet seriously, which included stopping the tea and drinking bottled ... Read the complete review

Every cup of Typhoo is bursting with 'OO' I have to confess I am very fussy about my tea, I have tried lots of varieties and there are some I won't even touch anymore, so I must be a bit of a tea snob. I don't have milk or sugar in my tea, just straight from the pot, I can not abide weak tea, every one else is drinking there's while mine is still brewing. I have recently bought Typhoo as I caught a few good offers more recently in pound stretcher where you got two boxes of 200 Typhoo one cup tea bags for £3, and to my surprise it is not a bad cuppa, normally ill go for PG or Yorkshire, but this Typhoo one cup is in my top list now. ... Typhoo was aunched in 1903 by Birmingham grocer John Sumner, and originally sold as a cure for indigestion, Typhoo is still one of Britain's favourite teas. 90 lovely cups of Typhoo are drunk every second - that's 2.9 billion every year!!! I probably consume about 4 of these a day at least :) I recommend these if you do not brew in a teapot and would rather use a cup or a mug of any size, the bags will do for either. Typhoo is the most instantly recognisable tea on the market today, to be honest I am not that faithful to any teabags but I do find myself keep getting these due to the exceptional price and the full flavour. I buy them from ... Read the complete review
