Outrageously removed from Britian. BRING IT BACK
Member Name: Squeesfan
Advantages: One of the most interesting and satisfying of the coke drinks.
Disadvantages: Rather powerful flavour. Too much vanilla for some people.
I have been a particularly avid drinker of soft drinks. In fact other than milk and water, there is no other non-alcoholic drink I enjoy dipping my tastebuds in (other than a sneaky diet coke on rare occasions.)
Vanilla coke was a different story though. When this creation was available I drank it in droves. A lot of people complained that the vanilla taste was too overwhelming, that it was too much. Bull cocky I say! Vanilla coke was a God amongst soft drinks with it's smooth flavour and thirst quenching satisfaction.
Even the advertising was good. Remember the commerical where a guy walks past a gaping hole in a wall, double takes, sticks his head in only to be congratulated on his curiousity by a man holding a vanilla coke. He got a sip, told 'thanks for dropping by' and then removed his head and walked on.
I hear this was removed due to poor sale but I cannot believe it was the worst selling of all the coke variants. While this is not the place to rant, I feel Vanilla coke's removal is a crime second only to the genocide of wispa Gold's.
Summary: A great drink which should never have been removed from sale in the UK. Buy it if you can.
