Advantages: creamy, delicious, yummy

Disadvantages: flat easily, tastes like sick when warm

I bet the Walkers Crisps Company got their idea of Vanilla Monster Munch from the launch of this product I am going to write about today, which is Vanilla Coke.

Coca Cola Vanilla unlike Vanilla Monster Munch is very edible and morish, well for my taste buds anyway lol, so this will be a much different opinion compared to the last opinion I wrote.

I had read about Vanilla Coke on a review site on the Internet about a year ago, but it was written by someone from Canada and unfortunately this little creamy delight hadn't been introduced to England yet. I was very disappointed, as it sounded lovely. So you can imagine how excited I was as soon as I read an opinion on Ciao a few weeks ago and found out that the (evvvvvver soooooo slooooooow, yet so expensive lol) country of England had actually started putting this drink out on to the shelves.

So I bet you can guess, that as soon as I went shopping to Tesco, I went straight to the fridge to snatch one of these little beauties before they had all sold out. It was easy to spot, sitting in amongst the 500ml bottles of cherry cokes, fantas, sprites, coca colas and diet cokes. It stood out from the other soft drink bottles because it looked creamy and inviting. It has a creamy coloured lid and there are creamy vanilla coloured swirls as well as the Vanilla flavour on the front underneath the Coca Cola logo. If you like food and drink that's creamy (but you can make an exception with monster munch) then you will love this.

I couldn't wait to get home and try it. It didn't taste very nice warm, so I put it in the fridge for about half an hour, hoping I wouldn't be disappointed with the taste once it had been chilled.
I took it out some time later and it tasted gorgeous. The taste was a bit like an ice cream float (something I always used to order from a restaurant menu when I was younger lol). It tasted of original coke but a little sweeter and creamier and when I ha
d swallowed one mout
hful, it left a creamy aftertaste in my mouth.

The only disadvantage I found to this product, was that when it's left out the fridge for a while, or when it goes flat (which is something it tends to do very easily), it tastes like sick, horrible and disgusting, so it's best to drink it after it's been chilled for a while.

It comes in 500ml-sized bottles, and only just recently it has come out in cans and big bottles. They are priced the same as your normal coke and sit next to your normal coke on the shelves. The cheapest supermarket I have been to which sells soft drinks is Tesco, it is only 72p compared to 78p in most places for 500mls.
It says on the back of the bottle that this drink contains vegetable extracts with vanilla flavour. Anyone know what vegetables are put into this drink? Does that mean this drink is good for you?
In the ingredients list, this drink contains caramel E150d, I wonder if that's what gives the coke the vanilla flavour.

If you liked ice cream floats as a child, then I am sure you will fall head over heels in love with this drink.
When this drink first came out, I guessed a diet coke version of this would follow shortly and it sure did, so that will be my next opinion I think.

This sounds way too sickly for me, even when it's fizzy and not flat!
