It's Iceland's best selling beer, which realistically is not that hard to achieve when considering the competition.

With a name like Viking Gold it just had to be tried, admittedly not as well-named as Orkney Island's "Skullsplitter" the can had clearly been designed by Iceland's finest artisans, the viking boat interestingly looked like a Swan and the bold word Viking was well centered with a red emblem around it. Viking Gold is readily available and one I drank a few times, I didn't expect much from this beer, in fact I imagined that travelling with kegs of this stuff may have resulted in the Viking's aggression and desire to take over countries who were producing better stuff.
