Although marketed as the still, cordial version of Vimto (the fizzy Vimto), the only things that I can notice are the same are the name and the colour of the two drinks, and that is not a bad thing.

I have never really been a fan of fizzy Vimto and so I wasn't over keen when my brother made me a glass of this, the still Vimto. I was very pleasantly surprised though by the sweet, mixed berry flavour that hit my mouth and I have since bought it regularly. Although I wouldn't always choose Vimto cordial over the original Ribena cordial (my favourite), it has become a cordial of choice for me along with Robinson's orange. Some people argue that it is too sweet and I can understand where they are coming from, however diluting it more than the stated amount can reduce the sugary taste.

A downside for this product would be that like Ribena and other cordials, it does stain if spilt on clothes or carpet etc, so be careful if you're giving it to children (or someone who's just plain clumsy). To avoid a product because it stains though would leave you living off bread and water for the rest of your life, so don't let that hold you back but rather just be careful with it.

It's competitively priced and has more than competitive taste to it, so definitely a hit product. I'd like to give it 4 and a half stars but obviously that's impossible, so I'm saving my 5 stars for my upcoming Ribena review. Enjoy
