Alcopops, not just for kids (Vodka Reef)

Advantages: tastes nice, easy to hold bottle

Disadvantages: cant taste alcohol, more expensive

This was one of my first alcoholic drinks that I tried at a friends party. It was so easy to drink, and didnt taste of alcohol, so I loved it!

Fast forward 5 years, and now I only drink it on a friday night in Box in Leeds. They do 2 for one on Reefs and Heineken. Since I dont like beer, Reef it is.

You can buy these in supermarkets and off licenses in packets of 4. They cost at least £3.50 so might be cheaper to just buy a bottle of vodka and some orange juice.

This drink contains a lot of sugar, so if you drink loads of them they can make you be sick. So I wouldnt suggest sticking to just these on a night out.

Alcopops used to be the favourite of teenagers, but now at work I notice a lot of people opting for flavoured cider instead. They are priced cheaper than a lot of the alcopops, apart from VKs. Reef is possibly one of our worst sellers.

It tastes nice, orangey, like thick orange juice with no bits. You have to make sure that you shake the bottle before opening, or you end up with loads of bits at the bottom.

If you like alcopops then you will probably enjoy this, but if not then it just tastes like bitter orange juice, and not at all of vodka.
