A design fault perhaps.. (Volt Original Beer)

At first sight Volt looks like certified tramp juice, keen to avoid any traditional looking designs on their cans, they have a modern electric look that wouldn't be out of place on a can for an energy drink. I'd given this beer a wide berth for a long time until it was on promotion at a nearby garage and a friend talked me into getting some, ensuring me that it was "quite good", I opened the can with great suspision but found it to be actually very drinkable and I regret judging it by its cover, so to speak.

Despite the fact it's packaging would be more suited to deodarant, deep down it was just as good as any other beer, poured the same golden-yellow colour, kept a reasonable head, had a reasonable amount of carbonation and indeed tasted pleasantly hoppy. The beer is brewed by the Bosman brewery in Szczecin near the German border and is distributed by Carlsberg Polska. With an abv of just 4.2%, it's one of Poland's weakest beers but remains tasty.
