The water is also still rather than sparkling. The packaging is attractive and they advertise on the fact it is relatively good for you and also the things they do for the environment. The size of the bottle is good, by drinking a full one per day you are 75% of the way towards your recommended daily intake of water. I think it is a little expensive for the p...more

Premium Review Volvic Touch of Fruit Strawberry: Sugar free, still, and sweet. (572 words)

Having read other reviews about Volvic Touch of Fruit I was genuinely shocked to realise that there is sugar in it. I thought, mineral water with a touch of fruit would be sugar free, not so. However, now you can get a sugar free version, that is not a 'no added sugar', but SUGAR FREE. There is a difference, 'no added sugar' does not mean it is sugar free, sorry to labour a point but you would be surprised at how many people do not realise this. I bought the strawberry one for the first time a good few weeks ago now as I like to have water on a long drive. Have to say it was lush, really refreshing, very strong taste of strawberry and reasonable ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Tastes like you forgot to wash out your glass (301 words)

As we all surely know by now, you are supposed to drink 8 glasses of water a day to keep you hydrated and let your body reap the many benefits of water. I might not be perfectly healthy (I have my vices!) but I do drink an absolute tonne of water and very rarely anything fizzy or sugary. Occasionally I am partial to a bit of ribena but thats about it. I have never been tempted by these flavoured waters imagining that they would taste neither here nor there. Also I confess to not seeing the point of them - if you want water, have water - if not, have a cordial! On a particularly hot day in the office one of my colleagues brought a ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Volvic Touch of Fruit Strawberry: Sugary, strawberry, watery (370 words)

After reviewing the still version of this a few days a go, I thought I would now review this strawberry version that is also from the volvic range. Volvic is a mineral water that filters through layers of volcanic rock in France. It comes in all sorts of different sized bottles including a bigger sports version for those of you who drink on the move. I really love water but on the odd occasion I do get a little bored of it and sometimes fancy a bit of a change. Every now and again I buy a Boots meal deal if I am in town at lunchtime so for my drink option, I either go for an innocent smoothie or water but this time I went for this flavoured ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Damn Sugar Content! (518 words)

I will drink tap water on a regular basis but as well know it has no taste and is quite a boring drink in all honesty so if ever I am out shopping and I fancy a thirst quenching drink I will buy Volvic flavoured water. Strawberries are one of my favourite fruits and flavours in many things so when purchasing flavoured water I chose to buy Volvic Touch Of Strawberry. Volvic water comes in smaller bottles and larger 1 litre bottles. They are a clear plastic so you can see the clear water inside - well see through it more like seeing as it is clear. On the bottles themselves there is a sticker right around it, the top bit of the sticker is green resembling hills ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Volvic Touch of Fruit Strawberry: Water - and lots of sugar! (535 words)
by - written on 24/01/09 (Very useful, 156 readings)

Eight glasses of water a day (that's about 2 litres) - that's what we should be drinking......every day, but how many of us do so? Everyone knows that we should drink more water, but that's about as far as it gets. Whilst water might be good for us, and thirst quenching, it is boring.......and a cup of tea or coffee, or a can of fizzy drink, seems much more appealing most of the time. So that is why I was drawn to the Volvic Touch of Fruit bottles when I was in town and in need of a thirst quencher. These 500ml bottles will give you a quarter of the water that you should be having on a daily basis, without the "boringness" of plain water.......but ...  Read the complete review
