I am sure everyone knows that water is good for them and that we are supposed to drink 8 glasses of the stuff a day but how many of us do??

The reason I feel that we tend not to drink water preferring to drink fruit juices or fizzy drinks instead is simply because water is tasteless and boring, up steps Volvic with their touch of fruit range, still water but with just a hint of flavour to make it more enjoyable..... Well that's the theory anyway!!

Volvic touch of fruit lemon and lime flavour is nothing short of horrible, I quite enjoy a glass of ice cold water and lemon and lime is a flavour I like also so I must like this then mustn't I?? Well the answer is no I do not, not one bit. This water just tastes like very, very weak diluting juice, flavour has to either be there or not and this is definitely somewhere in between.

I bought a four pack of 500ml bottles and popped them in the fridge believing that once nice and cold I would very much enjoy a bottle after my five aside football but even though the drink was nice and chilled and very much needed as I am way too old now to be playing football I managed to drink less than a quarter of it as I found it completely horrible.

The multipack of 4 x 500ml bottles cost me £2.45 and a single 500ml bottle will set you back anything between 69 - 85p depending where you purchase them but my advice would be to avoid them at all costs.

A nice cold bottle of Volvic original is much preferable to this attempt by them to make water exciting and if you do not like water alone then simply add a small amount of a diluting juice of your choice then that way you can choose how strong or weak the flavour should be.

If you do wish to give this a try then I can tell you that the other flavours available are orange and peach, exotic fruit and strawberry that I know of but there may be more as these companies tend to constantly add to their ranges to keep us interested.
