I went to lunch with my friend today and I noticed the volvic range of waters in the fridge. I have recently reviewed the strawberry and still version and know the lemon and lime was on the dooyoo catalogue. I didn't really fancy it to be quite honest but my dooyoo addiction got the better of me and I found myself popping it onto the tray! Does anyone else do that? Am I a freak or just totally and utterly addicted??

Volvic is a mineral water that filters through layers of volcanic rock in France. It comes in all sorts of different sized bottles including a bigger sports version for those of you who drink on the move. This particularly bottle cost me around a pound but I can't be exact as I bought a few other things too.

The water is clear and there is no sign it being flavoured and it's only the small lemon and lime on the bottle that give it away. When you open the screw cap you can definitely tell that there is a mix of flavours going on inside the water because they drift up your nostrils.

The water is very nice. I don't particularly like lemon flavoured products but because the water has a subtle taste, I didn't find it too sickly or tangy. It was very smooth and went down very quickly. I could definitely taste both the lemon and lime flavours which is good because I often find that products like these have a fruit that overwhelms all of the other flavours.

The only other thing I would say about this water is that it states on the bottle that you shouldn't reuse it which I always thought was a marketing ploy to try and get you to always buy a fresh bottle full. Apparently it's not and if you reuse the bottle time and time again, it gives off chemicals from the plastic that can be harmful. I don't mind myself as I have never felt ill even though I use the bottles until they start to crack but I wouldn't advise giving them to young children just incase.

I did enjoy this drink but it was quite sweet and I didn't enjoy it as much as the strawberry flavoured one. This water does contain a lot of sugar so I would suggest it as a one off every now and again and stick to the still water in between.
