REALTRAVELLER Volvic Touch of Fruit Lemon & Lime: ... mineral water and flavoured waters are filtered through 6 volcanic layers gving this water a unique composition. This is what they say on the bottle, and for those who care to know, the 6 layers are the flow of the water, the surface humus, the andesite, the puzzolana, the basalt and the granite. To be honest, if they had not told me this, I would have never guessed. I buy this water from one of the local sh...

iamasadlittleboy Volvic Revive
... on the shelf for drinks I ve yet to try has become harder and harder as I ve pretty much tried to sample every available drink in the local shops. Though when I saw this deep red Volvic I realised it was something I hadn t tried, so snapped up a bottle of what turned out to be Volvic Revive. Coming in a 500ml bottle with a square base and at a mere 39p this seemed like a value buy. As far as bottled water goes, it seemed to me that Volvic, despite it s claims of "Volcanicty" was more similar to tap water than anything else, and sadly this made it the most drinkable of quite a sorry bunch. However looking at Volvic Revive struck me as something that was...

... has 4 calories for every 250ml for all you weight watchers out there. I had purchased the touch of strawberry although there is a lime/lemon and peach flavour as well. There is a definete hint of strawberry in the water which is quite nice to taste and it leaves an aftertaste for a while. However I noticed that I didnt feel as refreshed or hydrated with this as after normal chilled water. Though Volvic boasts about ite 6 layer filteration in the product I felt a lot more satisfied on a hot day or after a run to just gulp down cold water than one of these flavored variants. The plus side is volvic for africa movement which says that for every 1L purchased 10L of drinkin...

... Natural Mineral Water 1.5L is in my opinion a very good buy: The taste of the water is very pure with a hint of cool freshness even when not stored in a cool place. It tastes better than the other bottled waters from own-brand stores which will taste off after a few days and price-wise is cheaper than Evian, which on the other hand tastes rather bland and after a few sips you are thirsty again. Now you may wonder why you should even buy bottled water in the first place when there s tap water. My personal belief on this is that while the water from the tap is edible, the pipes it goes through are generally not very clean and over time you get more heavy metals in y...
