Waitrose Scottish Sparkling Natural Mineral Water:
... sparkling water trend slowly comes over from the mainland which is good for me as I much prefer sparkling to still water; for me it s just a lot more refreshing than normal still water. Last week I was feeling very lazy and went to Waitrose for my weekly shopping which is just around the corner instead of driving into town to go to Tesco. I know that Waitrose is quite a bit more expensive than my usual supermark... Read the full review: An expensive option by sun-is-shining |

This, plus the Island location, gives the saline dimension in its flavour and the use of locally grown optic barley. Alcohol by volume: 40% vol. overall rating |

If you ever go there try to make sure you visit on a Sunday when peace descends over the place and it is quite simply unique and so restful you could stay there forever. So on our return we looked out for some of the wine we had enjoyed there and we found a bottle in Waitrose called St Emilion which was just perfect to celebrate Christmas and to remember our trip. We did bring some other wine home but as we were flying we didn t risk too many bottles in the case and as part of the trip involved visits to some rather special wineries I have sa... Waitrose tea bags Earl Grey ... am a committed tea drinker; in fact tea bags are at the top of my list of things to pack when we go on holiday! I like to drink breakfast tea during the day but in the evening I like a cup of earl Grey. I usually buy Twinings earl Grey tea bags but recently spotted Waitrose own brand earl Grey of offer so thought I would give them a try. Earl Grey tea is named after Charles Grey an English Earl who became prime minister in 1830. It is said that a Chinese mandarin, in gratitude for saving his sons life gave the earl a gift of tea. Whether this is true or not the fact is that Charles Grey enjoyed this particular blend of tea and always had it served in his drawing room.... Read the full review: A musty experiance by anwar7 |

Waitrose Island Malt 10 Year Old Whisky ... now recovered, enough, from my last Whisky Review to embark upon another. This is a Whisky that I’ve never tasted before. It was bought as a Christmas present and I’m now going to taste if for the first time. That said I have heard great things about it. The Waitrose Island 10 Year Old Scotch Whisky is available in Waitrose Stores and online (www.waitrose.com) and retails at the massive sum of £16.99 (although online I think you have to buy it by the case. It is 40% Alcohol by Volume and comes in a standard 70cl bottle. A word about Supermarket malts, there are essentially three types of Supermarket own label malts, the Waitrose type where a specific unnamed distill...
