It is not to sweet as it leaves a dry taste in your mouth ensuring you drink more. It's best drunk chilled and with ice. I do not consider myself to be a cider connoisseur but 'Old Rosie' has to be one of the most under rated ciders about today. I strongly believe it should be on draft and more readily available like 'Strongbow' is. Unfortunately the only places I know this to be available is the Wetherspoons pubs chain and ASDA supermarkets. Up until a few years ago I didn’t drink cider at all. I didn’t like it and I always avoided it in pubs or at parties. When I was younger I had been put off the drink by experiments with Woodpecker and Diamond White; I would drink loads, get drunk, fall over and be very sick as a result. So, consequently, I didn’t drink cider for quite a few years, because it bought back too many memories of teenage drinking binges.
