There is one really good reason why I like winter. It isn't the cold weather, the snow or the fact that Christmas approaches at a rate that doesn't agree with my bank balance (or fit in with pay day either for that matter). The reason I like winter is the winter beers! They are usually dark, strong and full of taste ~ perfect to warm you up on a cold day. One of my favourite of these seasonal ales is Whim Brewery's Black Christmas....yum! Not only am I supporting a local brewery by drinking it (oh, how selfless am I?), I am also having a lovely drink. ~~~THE BREWERY.
