Well and truly smurfed...

The place was Scotland the year was 1996. A magical creation was born - a blue 'wicked' alcopop. One I am unable to resist in 'any' public house!

...Taste...
So sugary, I was once told the delightful WKDBLUE contains three times as many calories as a MacDonalds Big Mac. No wonder my numerous attempts at weight loss are always unsuccessful!

The taste I believe is described by wkd as 'a refreshingly different flavor tenderly combined with vodka'. To be quite honest I'm struggling to find the right words to express the flavor, fruity - actually depending on the temperature of the drink can actually make a huge difference to the taste (far nicer chilled and also recommended!).

...The bottle....
You can purchase this blue alcopop in a 275ml bottle or if you're really thirsty than there is always the 700ml (pubs usually sell the 275ml bottle).

The bottles can be purchase in a selection of Supermarkets and off licenses, they can be bought in packs of four or twelve (bottles)!

....Why I like the drink....
Although I maybe unpopular when it comes some-one buying a round of drinks (Wkdblue can cost up to £3.00). The drink is very moreish and quite refreshing. It is not fizzy so no gassiness. It can become quite filling after about four bottles (no wonder with all those calories!).

For some reason when ever I go out with friends they have never even heard of WKDBLUE. To me it's the one drink that stands out behind the bar!

People usually ask to have a sniff and respond more often that not with "oh it's quite sweet isn't it?" So be warned I really wouldn't recommend any diabetics or those with dental problems trying this drink!

...Why should you try the drink....
Well why shouldn't you? Okay if your on a diet probably best to leave it alone! However, one drink never did any one any harm did it? The drink is 'different' so many of us stick to the same drink; wine, beer, lager - all of which I am not a fan of! If you like attention your friends are bound to be interested in your new BLUE drink!
