Advantages: tastes great

Disadvantages: Too sweet to drink all night

Long gone are the days of two dogs and hooch thank goodness and today there are a lot of alcopops out there, some tasting better than others and all tasting better than the above mentioned.

WKD blue is one of the nicest and more refreshing. It tastes quite like blue icepops (a mix between blueberry and bubblegum) and is a vodka based drink and when cold is very refreshing and thirst quenching. WKD is one of the leaders in the new wave of alcopops that actually taste like great.

I personally am a larger drinker myself and do believe that alcopops are very girlie, this said, I am a girl and after a few pints of larger when I am feeling a bit worse for wear drinking a WKD is just the thing to pick me up and give me a burst of energy. However I have tryed to drink WKD all night and after a couple I find it too sickly, like most soft drinks, there ok in moderation.

WKD original blue comes in a 275ml bottle although 700ml bottles are available in shops and the larger ones are great for BBQ's and house parties when chilled.

It is worth a try and if you gave up on alcopops with the lemonade originals I know you will be more than pleasantly surprised.

Summary: One of the nicer alcopops
