INTRODUCTION: WKD (Pronounced Wicked) original vodka blue, is a type of drink called alcopops, the reasons for this is that the drinks resemble fizzy drinks but have a few shots of spirits in them. TASTE: I personally like to drink a whole range of drinks, and WKD Blue is one drink i like to drink, it tastes very ... Read the complete review

WKD Blue is an alcholic mixed drink better known as an alchopop. Although it looks bright and cool, it's definetly not meant for anyone under the age of 18. As I guy, you may sometimes get the mick taken out of when ordering this at a bar as it's seen more as a ladies drink. Real men of course should be drinking pints of lagers not ... WKD Blue is my guilty pleasure. I know I shouldn't drink it but I can't help myself. It's not a guilty pleasure in the sense that it's high in alcoholic content (it's only 5%!), no, it's more the fact that it's loaded with other bad stuff. The bottle doesn't tell you this of course, because most of the people who drink this are the ... Read the complete review

When it comes to drinking I have to admit im a proper girly drinker - alcopops all the way! At present my favourite drink has to be WKD blue which is available in most pubs/clubs/supermarkets and off-licences nowdays. Available in two colours - orange and blue, the blue is my favourite by far. It comes in a clear glass bottle with a ... Read the complete review

WKD is a vodka based alcopop popular with young teen drinkers. It has a weird taste, very sweet and does not taste of alcohol atall, just a sickly soft drink, hence the term "alcopop". I have to admite, WKD would not be my first choice of drink, I mainly like to drink bottled beers or mixers such as Jack Daniels and Coke, however I get ... Read the complete review

I'm not a massive fan of Blue WKD but there has been many a night out where I have found myself with a bottle. Why I hear you ask? Because as I call it Blue WKD is the "drunken choice". Some of you may not be able to relate to this but others will know the situation well. You are in a packed bar, it's your friends' round and they ask ... Read the complete review

Long gone are the days of two dogs and hooch thank goodness and today there are a lot of alcopops out there, some tasting better than others and all tasting better than the above mentioned. WKD blue is one of the nicest and more refreshing. It tastes quite like blue icepops (a mix between blueberry and bubblegum) and is a vodka based ... Read the complete review

These kind of drinks are known as alcopops and are usually aimed at teens or younger people in night clubs although I do sometimes have one of these, because I don't really like drinking alcohol so tend to avoid spirits and wine. The drink was originally made in Scotland and was made in 330ml bottles that is now reduced to 275ml. It was ... Read the complete review

At risk of sounding like an unfit mother i have to share with you my new discovery last friday night. It was my first night out since my daughter was born 2 months ago - i havent drunk anything in over a year, so i decided to pick something that was easy to drink, i have never had wkd before but in the absensce of bicardi breezers decided to give ... The so called alcopop`s drinks are definitely not aimed at people of my age and I am very much an ale and whisky drinker but recently at my sons BAR B Q, I found myself drinking with a lot of people a fraction of my age and found myself trying some drinks very different from those I am used to. Most of the drinks I tried I would never ... Read the complete review

WKD is a real curiosity, because the TV adverts, which proudly ask the viewer, "Do you have a WKD side?", are clearly geared towards men. However, 99% of male drinkers that I've met either can't stand the stuff, or pawn it off as too sweet and not strong enough for their tastes, and I know quite a variety of guys. Whilst I'm adhering to ... Read the complete review

WKD is a bright blue bottled drink made from vodka but is only about 5% making it a popular alcopop. It is fizzy and has a berry sort of flavour to it making it really easy to drink. I run a bar and we sell these by the bucket full - we have an offer on most evenings where you can buy 3 for £5 and we literally cannot stock the shelves ... Read the complete review

WKD truly is Wicked I know this review is going to cause a bit of a stir with all those WKD lovers out there but i think people should question who this aimed for. Taste : lets be honest this just tastes like fizzy pop and now is availble in wkd red for those kids ( i mean people ) who didnt like the wicked blue. Its sickly, ... Read the complete review

I am not a drinker at all and I can't remember the last time I had an alcoholic beverage. For the last three years of my life I have either been pregnant or breastfeeding so it's definately been as long and probably longer than that. The other night I fancied a change from the usual routine of family life and since we couldn't get a baby sitter, ... Read the complete review

WKD Blue worries me somewhat. There are a number of concerns I have. The first is the taste, it tastes sickly-sweet, not in bad way at all. If you can remember blue ice pops, it tastes almost exactly like them. This shouldn't be a problem, but what I find with WKD and a lot of other alcopops is that you can't taste the alcohol, at all. ... Read the complete review

This WKD has a fruity texture and is very nice to drink on a warm sunny day as long as it is cold enough! This would be my least favourite out of all the WKDs you can get. This drink does get very sickening after just a few bottles and what I find is that it has a tendancy to stick to the back of your throat, making you ... Read the complete review

Nothing wrong with these, infact in recent times these have become more fashionable, and pretty much a staple at discos and parties of young people. I was at a party a couple of weeks ago, an 18th birthday party actually, and I would have to suggest that WKD Blues were the most frequently consumed drink, everyone seemed to have one, both boys and ... I'm not the biggest fan of alco-pops. I have tried a few, not being a drinker i tend to go for light drinks when i do get dragged out but bumping into the Blue WKD really was a mistake. Everyone goes for this, all my friends drink it and i don't under why. It's way too expensive and like other's have stated on here, over rated ... Read the complete review

WKD's are the latest alcopops hitting the clubs and pubs across the country. Forget Bacardi Breezers, these are the best in the business... well sort of. At just 5% alc, they're the perfect drink for a night out if you don't really want to get hammered, drink too many because they're so easy to be drunk, and you might find yourself a ... Not being a fan of alcopops at the best of times I have to say Blue WKD is not my favourite tipple. I think its over priced and over rated. The first few mouthfuls out of the bottle go down nicely but I find nearing the bottom you start to get that sweet sickly thick taste rising in your throat. I also find if I drink a few of these and then move ... Read the complete review
