As one or two of you have noticed, I'm not very good at putting flavours into words, but Norfolk Nog is worth commenting on anyway. It's a dark beer (that's the easy bit!), but not too sweet. The first couple of times I tried it, I was not all that impressed. Maybe the temperature was wrong or something. Anyway, I hadn't had any for a year or so when I tried it the other day in the White Horse at East Runton. Although I have generally thought of dark beers as specially suitable for winter days, this was different.
