The Brewery Wychwood brewery is based in my hometown of Witney in the heart of the Oxfordshire countryside. The town is by far better known for blankets, however, the reputation of the town’s brewery is beginning to overtake that fame. Founded by John Williams Clinch, the first brewery was built in 1841 not far from the site of the current location. The brewery was built ther eto be close to the River Windrush from which the water for the beer was taken (and which recently flooded my livingroom!)
