Steer clear of these! (Yazoo Banana Flavour Milkshake)

I reviewed the strawberry version of these a few weeks a go and was far from impressed. I had the delight of sampling these banana flavoured Yazoo's after my mum decided to bring them down for Noah. I didn't tell them how awful I thought they were because Noah seem to like them.

The milkshakes come in packs of four and are low in fat. They have absolutely no artificial flavouring, preservatives or sweeteners and are made with semi skimmed milk. Each bottle is 200ml and has a screw top lid so you can save some for later if you can't drink the whole thing in one go. There is a little plastic straw on the side of the bottle if you want to pierce the foil and drink it like that but I usually pour it into Noah's cup rather than be 'faffing' around.

The consistency of the milkshake is very watery and it was a very pale yellow in colour. I didn't have high hopes for the taste and I have to say that I wasn't pleasantly surprised in any way. It had a subtle banana taste to it but I found that I was overwhelmed with the sweetness of the whole thing. I only took a couple of sips before calling 'quits' and handing it over to it's rightful owner.

I definitely wouldn't buy these myself and I can't say that I would be sampling any other flavours even if my mum does bring them down. They may be low in fat but they also low in taste and I can't understand how anyone would pay £2 for these. I suggest that you give these a miss and try some Nesquik instead. It's far nicer and less sugary.
