Advantages: Extremely tasty, quite light...
Disadvantages: Lots and lots of sugar...
I am something of a connoisseur of milkshakes (as seemingly sad as that sounds), and having recently reviewed the Frijj milkshake range, I thought I'd compare their chocolate version to Yazoo.
As I said in that review, I'm not a particular fan of thick milkshakes - I don't want to feel as though I've just eaten a meal having finished a bottle. I prefer light milkshakes, and thankfully, Yazoo is far, far lighter and better tasting than Frijj. Also, they offer the huge 1 litre bottle which is filling without bloating you, and can last you a whole afternoon if you've got a busy day!

Generally speaking, Yazoo isn't too bad for you, especially considering the statistics for a whole litre of Yazoo. The only alarming statistic is the 116g of Sugar in the drink. However, not much of this is "added sugar", and so is not as bad for you as a result.
The taste is very rich and very creamy, whilst remaining pretty light. The value of the drink is very good, with 1l costing about 87p in Tesco, and even in corner shops like One Stop, it's rarely over £1. Considering that Frijj itself is more than that for a 500ml bottle, you know that you're getting extremely good value for money, for a drink that actually tastes better.
I also recommend dropping chunks of chocolate in the milkshake if you're feeling in an indulgent mood. There's enough there to share with a mate, and also not so much that you'll feel full and bloated like I tend to feel when I drink Frijj.
Summary: Tastes great, but drink in moderation!
