I'm a big, big, BIG fan of the Chocolate Yazoo drink, but after much coaxing from a friend, I finally gave the Strawberry one a try, which he deemed to, despite my skepticism, be tastier than the Chocolate one. I didn't end up agreeing with him, but that's because I'm a huge chocoholic - this is still a yummy milkshake that's not too rich but all the same rather filling.

Getting the consistency of a milkshake is a fine art - they can either end up too watery, or too thick (like a McDonald's milkshake). Yazoo, however, get a fairly robust medium half-way, and it isn't as sugary and rich as, say, Frijj milkshakes, meaning it won't make you full up before tea, and is a light and creamy treat instead.

Yazoo is very much concerned with health, and promotes a number of benefits to drinking Yazoo, including vitamin B for growth, no artificial colourants, less than 5% added sugar, not a lot of fat, and of course, it's suitable for veggies too! Although it's made with skimmed milk, you wouldn't know by tasting it - it really does taste like the full-fat article, and is as delicious (if not more) than any full fat milkshakes out there. Whilst some of the fattier milkshakes aim to fill you up, and most often end up bloating me, this is most of a cool thirst quencher that relies on being light.

My local One Stop has these on deal for 59p at the moment, for the medium sized bottles (as pictured), which I thought was a rather good deal. They are, in my opinion, the best milkshake on the market, and this strawberry one retains the punchy but not overpowering taste that I expect from Yazoo.
