The national drink of turkey, now i've been to Turkey twice and i've yet to see anyone turkish drinking this. Many a time this disgusting has been offered to me but as they say once bitten twice shy. I'm not a fan of pernod but I can drink and I was was told it was just like pernod, no its not its ten times more aniseedy than pernod. This is a drink that the Turkish people give to tourists for a laugh as I have yet to see anyone actually enjoy it. Another strange thing about it is that when you mix it with water the two clear liquids combine and go cloudy and thats enough to churn my stomach. This drink has a very aquired taste, it also has one very good use, that is as a present to the people at home that you don't really want to get anything for but you have to.

Summary:
