A lot of people moan about Wetherspoons pubs. They say the beer is often off, the quality of the food is hit and miss, they often do not have the beers on that they are displaying and the staff are often too busy to serve. Whatever the faults the chain may or may not have there is a major redeeming feature for me - their Beer Festivals! From 27th March to April 14th this year the J D Wetherspoon chain has been holding one of its regular Beer Festivals, promoting cask ales from all over the UK.
