... amazing aromas of guava, mango, passionfriut, asparagus and grass! I can't say I can taste the individual flavours quoted but I can say that this wine has a wonderfully fruity aroma. It tastes smooth with a slight hint of fruity sweetness. If I didn't know better I would say the sweet taste is a bit like pineapple. There is no sharp after taste as with some white wines. I am no wine connoisseur but I know what I like! When I first tasted Zephyr sauvignon Blanc I knew I had found my al time favourite wine! Zephyr sauvignon Blanc is a relatively new wine and comes from the vineyard of Owen and Wendy Glover situated in the Marlbourgh region of New Zealand. Although the Glovers have owned the vineyard since the mid 1980's, it is only since 2007 that the Zephyr brand was created.
