Advantages: great after dinner drink, settles stomach

Disadvantages: a definite acquired taste

When I went to Hungary my boyfriend decided to try some of the local drink - unicum. I thought he was mad and on first taste decided that he was. Over the 4 nights we were there we tried a glass of unicum each night - and each night we got to like it more. This meant that once at the airport we couldn't pass up the opportunity to buy a bottle of the black liquer. It became a bit of a hit between us but due to our limited supply we drank small quantities (also its almost 50% so very potent!). All we need now is another trip to Hungary to get some more!

Summary: Gets very nice when you drink it properly
