Advantages: good construction, durable, good sound and effect
Disadvantages: beaters can break if played rigorously
hello readers, i have a double bass pedal much like the one shown in the picture but mine is of a different make. this is a pretty nifty piece of hardware to have as it lets you achieve things impossible to do with a single pedal. however, as i am a left handed drummer it can cost as much as three times the price of a right handed one so be careful. they are generally of a very high standard and will serve you well for years and years to come if you take care of them properly. if you aren't sure what a double bass pedal is please research this on the internet becuase its definitely worth youre while buying it if you are really into drums and want to expand your kit. thanks please rate and leave comment. thanks once again.

- 31/03/04 Good start but how about a little bit more about the pedal? I can sympathise with you on the Left handed bit. I play guitar and drums Left Handed and know all about the pitfalls of paying more. However, I just found a great place in USA that shipped an Ovation Celebrity Deluxe over in a case for £250 less than the list price in the UK! Come on DOOYOO, add it in like you said you would! |

- 31/03/04 I bought a guitar off a friend several years ago but still haven't bothered learning anything!
I think the review could be more useful if you gave an indication of the prices and different makes of pedal, just in case budding drummers are looking for a recommendation. Keep up the good work though! |
