Great sounding kit (Pearl EXR825H)
Member Name: mousedadrummer
Advantages: Good price, feels proffesional Disadvantages: Bad stock heads Been playing this kit for 3 years now and can say that its a brilliant drum kit! Pearl have been at the fore front of the percussion market for years bringing great sounding, fantasticly made drums to both the proffesional and amatuer market. The Japanese company have been renound for making drum shells using SST or "superior shell technology" where sheets of ply are placed into a cylinder and glued with super hot glue that is forced in under pressure. The Export series of drums is their most popular range and a great set for any level of player. It is a perfect kit for somebody ready to move off from their beginners "CB or Performance Percussion" kit onto something that feels a whole lot more proffesional and overall better made. The stock drum heads that come with it are not much good, but with all new kits its best to change them for Evan or Remo when you get the kit, or when the stock ones have worn down (which wont take long". Overall this is a great drum kit and one any drummer would be happy to own. Summary: Dont hesitate to buy this! |
