... heads, they will improve the sound of your kit tenfold, and will have it sounding amazing. Obviously if you're just starting out then don't change the heads immediately as for learning purposes, you're not going to need better heads on your kit, however all heads need replacing eventually so when you do have to replace the heads, it's worth splashing out a bit and getting decent heads in order to get the best sound output possible out of your kit. Although this is a good beginner kit, once you get better and start gigging...more

Rating:

The Pearl name is an established one within the drumming world, with many professionals choosing to use their kits. The Pearl Corporation was founded in 1946 in Tokyo, Japan and since then has grown in popularity, rising to be the household name within the drumming world that it is today. I'd say they are definitely among the best when it comes to quality, so when you see the Pearl name you can rest assured that the kit in question is well made and will sound great. I bought this kit a couple of years back now and it was definitely a great buy for me as I have got a lot of use out of it and it's still going strong. Although there are a lot of drum kits at ...  Read the complete review

the first time i saw it, i thought over-priced rubbish, but then i played it. How wrong was I????? very wrong is the answer. Never before have i played a an instrument that sounds as good. Its what makes a good musician sound like an amazing musician. It really took my breath away, and does everytime i play it! It looks the business, and fits in any band or group. It comes in a wide variety of styles, and custom options. It sounds like a million dollars!! Its sound quality is totally unrivaled by anything i have played before. If you appriciate good quality instruments, then this will fit nicely into your collection. I know several ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Beginer Drummers Just Buy It (173 words)

If your a First time drummer looking for a drum kit that will stand up to your heavy or even light playing this is definitly for you. The hardware is excelent and so are the shells its as good as the export in my opinion. One thing is that the the skins and cymbals will eventually need to be replaced depending on how hard you play. I am a rock drummer and the kit holds up beautifly, I have changed the cymbals to some lovely ziljdian cymbals and have replaced the skins to some premier ds's so I can get a more rocky sound. the snare is a wonderfull farely deep steel snare and sounds great for what ever realy. this kit is the ultimet for beginers or drummers on a budget ...  Read the complete review
