Not for the beginner, this will give the experienced drummer a lot of joy.

Having played the drums since I was 9 or 10 I have tried many different drum kits. This is my current drumkit of choice right now, and it is one of the better kits I have owned for sure. Unfortunately it only comes in a limited colour range, only 4 different colours im afraid to say. This kit comes as either a 4 piece or a 5 piece setup, with the option of it with or without hardware. The set up is of a maple construction, and I love the sunburst brown finish on mine. The kit starts at around £600 for the base set up, and would finish at around £1000 for the very top spec (800 series hardware etc.).

The Tour Custom is built using Yamaha's Air Seal System, this basically involves putting an inflatable bag inside the drum shell as the drum is moulded. This ensures the drums last a long time apparently. I am no complete expert when it comes to drum kits, but I know a good one when I play one and this is definately a serious piece of kit. each of the componants to the kit play extremely well, the snare is very clear, as is the tom tom offering a crisp sound. If you are looking for a starter kit for any ages then this isnt it. I would say this is one of the best kits that I would say is intended and ideal for experienced musicians. For the pros, turning up at a gig with this kit will have the people in the know drooling.
