... terms of speed, that's for sure. The drive works quiter than other drives, but obviously not silently. The drive opens and closes fast enough, and starts reading the disc with a reasonably low delay. The drive comes with Nero software, though I don't really get alone with this software, so I use another piece of software to write CDs and DVDs. This is a great cheap Sata drive, that works perfectly, effectively, efficently, fast, and is reliable. Being one of the fastest drives in the world (quoted as being THE fastest), this is a pretty good drive!
