“ Pioneer DVR 212BK - Disk drive - DVD±RW (±R DL) - 18x/18x/12x - Serial ATA - internal - 5.25" - black „
When i first bought this sata dvd-rw had just come out on the market and this was one of the faster and cheaper ones and you can tell. When you pick it up it feels as though its going to break, does not in the slightest feel rigid at all. It is a very noisy even when its just ticking over but when you get it working really hard wow. I feel as though i need to strap my computer down it makes that much noise. It sounds as though its trying to take off or escape out of the case as though it doesn't belong there. The speed are more than good enough 18x18x12. But i can't really continue to knock it, it is still working like it was new even after a year and has never let me down. Another thing i like about it and i know this will sound sad but the way it opens and closes, it feels as though its done it properly every time. Overall I would say a very good budget buy but blue-ray is starting to take over so get a blue ray drive and keep the dvd-rw you've got but if your building from scratch or for a replacement once again go for blue ray but but a cheap but cheerful one like this one.
