Panasonic DVD L 50 ... bought my player in December 1999, because I was fed up with watching DVDs on my computer and wanted the ability to watch them wherever I was. Fastforward 18 months, and I have bought 2 TVs, countless DVDs and a stereo to get the full potential out of it. So, is it worth buying? My answer would be a simple 'yes, if you can get it cheap enough'. Playback is excellent on both its own screen and normal TVs; it has all the features you'd want, including DTS output and (from some retailers) multi-region playback; and it is very handy to carry around. LG DVD 3200 ... for an affordable multiregion DVD player is hard and i was having quite a hard time, luckily I saw an advert which was selling the LG 3200E, multiregion ready for £167.00! A great deal by Bennets who have various stores in the UK. The unit can be purchased from outlets such as Virgin but do shop around for the best price. The 3200E is great at playing movies, quality is amazing and it features 3D Surround sound. Its worth attaching it to your Hi Fi for optimal sound.
