cyberem78 Philips DVD 729: ... far as current media technology is concerned, this basic DVD player is probably a little old fashioned nowadays. It is the most basic of players with no recording features or in-built freeview. It is just a simple player that can hook up to both a television set and an audio stereo player. It can also be connected to any AV reciever or VHS machine. Due to the player s simple to use features I would suggest that th...

totally_organic Argos Value Range DS-306A
... little badboy costs £14.59 at Argos, and if all you want is a simple DVD player then you can t go wrong with it. The silver little box (22.5cm wide, 23.5cm deep, 3.8cm high) comes with a remote control, and considering the cost its relatively aesthetically pleasing. I am yet to work out whether its switched on or off when the red light is on... but regardless, if you press play it seems to work. Its got a scart socket for connecting to your TV. The DVD tray itself does look pretty flimsy - you wouldn t want to hit it with anything. But DVDs is something it can certainly manage. I ve had absolutely no problems with it whatsoever. The only minor flaw in it, is that w...

scotlandizdabest Panasonic DVD LX8EG-S
... that if you have one DVD player in the house you can just use this one as spare and I am able at any time watch my favorite DVDs. And one more I have used it in a power cut we had because of the snow (one great advantage of Scotland!) and it was fully charged so it was able to keep me and my brother amused for a while (then another day of no power but that meant no school!) So I am recommending this product to everyone and even if not this brand then another as they are fantastic! Copyright of Scotlandizdabest on Dooyoo.co.uk P.S. I just wanted to add I m watching Batman and the Dark Knight, just now on the Panasonic DVD Player, so that is what I call live reporting!...

JamieJCO Aitro DVDAW08
... What is it? - The product is a DVD Player made by the company "Aitro". Aitro, in my experience, is a completely unknown brand, and doing a Google search for Aitro brings up very little indeed, and certainly no company webiste. I found this DVD player in my local Tesco store for around £15 pounds, and since my previous machine recently broke I purchased it as a replacement, considering I rarely use the TV which it is plugged into anyway I didn t want to waste any money. - What do you get? - For the £15 you get a small (quite frankly cheap looking) DVD remote, the DVD player itself, the lead which connects it to the TV and the power lead too. - How does it l...
