... What is it? - The product is a DVD Player made by the company "Aitro". Aitro, in my experience, is a completely unknown brand, and doing a Google search for Aitro brings up very little indeed, and certainly no company webiste. Samsung DVD F1080 ... received one of these super modern DVD players as a Christmas gift. My husband who is an internet research loving geek selected this one based on online reviews and the price. The main reason this DVD player was selected was for the fact that this DVD can play HD DVD s. The picture quality for this DVD player is super; I ve had no issues with the disk skipping. The size of this DVD player is relatively small; 20cm by 20cm with a depth of 10cm - much smaller than a standard DVD player. The remote control for this DVD is also very small; the battery was included with the remote control. The downside to this DVD player is the beeps that it makes when you turn it on ... Toshiba SD 280EKTB ... I discovered that such a cheap dvd player was by such a good brand as Toshiba I could barely believe it. I would have been happy to pay in excess of forty pounds for this player, simply because it works so well. Disks never jump when in use and it is very easy to use. The controls and the remote control are easy to grasp and won t leave you frustrated. It s ready to go straight out of the box and there are no surprises. Not only that but it looks very sleek and modern, which is really great considering the price. It s not quite sturdy enough to put a tv on top of, but if you have the room to have it seperately I would recommend it. It does feel very light, w... Sony DVP FX720W ... CD and DVD player is easy to use and to set up; it starts playing automatically when you insert media and you can operate the standard DVD menu. The loading time is short for disks but memory sticks take longer to set up than an MP3 player. The box doesn t contain head phones but there is a standard socket and it works fine with my MP3 player s set. Sound quality is not brilliant over the built in speakers but you don t really notice when using head phones or when the volume is low. The picture quality is good but the screen is small.
