Woolworths Silver DVD Player ... of cheap shop brand DVD players - the last one i bought was a Tesco mini DVD player for £17.99 to travel with on holiday - that lasted about 2 DVD s before it went wrong . Got rid of that one - bought the Woolworths WorthIt DVD player for £19.99 and took it on holiday - this one lasted just half a play on a DVD before it went wrong - for an extra £10 you can buy a decent Sony or the like On Amazon.co.uk - i think i ll do that in future even if they are a bit bigger for travelling ! All i can say is - the old adage "you only get what you pay for" certainly applies for this machine - JUNK ! My 1047 does nt even look like the one being advertised by Woolwo... But it takes a fair bit more to get an exceptional dvd player, and the Pioneer DV 600-AVS is one of them. At its core this is a top quality upscaling dvd player. Picture quality is faultless, with excellent component and hdmi output. All the usual adjustments of brightness, color, contrast etc are available.
