Sony DVP NS305/S:
... got this dvd player when it first came out all those years ago, for it s time it was a very good and gimmicky but as times gone on it s become more and more obselete and as price have come down this shouldn t be first choice anymore. The player itself is quite bulky and heavy, it s quite long which means I can place all my other electronics on top of it such as my tv. Other than that all it is useful for is playin... Tesco DVD 1030 Player ... bought this DVD player a couple of years ago when I needed something quick and cheap. It was easy to get set up and didn t confuse me with a million different settings/options. It didn t feel particularly sturdy but that didn t bother me as it seemed to work fine. My mum also bought the same player a month or two later. Whereas my player still works soundly (apart from a quiet humming noise), my mother s makes a fair amount of noise when the disc is spinning and occasionally (although not that often) takes a few times of inserting a disc to recognise it is there or has any information on it. Despite this she still uses it and when a movie is on the sound/image etc is gr... Read the full review: quick fix...not for life by surveyjoanna |

Proline DVD1270 ... I first saw this DVD player I thought that it was rather stylish looking, as it was completely black, with a matt finish, meaning that there will not be as many annoying fingerprints that cover it through average daily use. It comes as a similar set up to all major DVD players on the market today, with the DVD tray on the left and some basic control buttons on the right of the front of the player. The player itself is of average size in comparison to most modern player with height 3.8cm depth 23.0cm and width 26.0cm. The player itself is capable of playing a wide range of discs including all types of DVD; DVD-R, DVD-RW, DVD+R and DVD+RW. As with most modern DVD pla... Philips DVP3264 ... DVD player and usually found for a great price! My boyfriend bought me this DVD player a few Christmas s ago, and I love it! He only bought it as a temporary fix until we could both decide what home cinema to go for. However it did not end up being a temporary fix as I still have it now nearly two years on as it is so fantastic! The player its self was very easy to set up - one scart to TV and one power lead needed..Done! Its body is lovely and slim and easy to clean (would recommend a bit of Mr Muscle all purpose spray and a cloth), this DVD player looks great in a bedroom as its pretty slim-line and does not look so invasive. The player is so easy to use - liter... Read the full review: GREAT! affordable, easy to use DVD player! by izzy_gray |
