	Argos Value PVS3377 Portable ... eldest child is a big fan of the simpsons and loves to watch harry potter, due to having a younger child he doesnt get much chance to enjoy the luxuary of sitting and being able to watch things in peace since she loves to turn the tele off. I purchased this from argos at christmas which was his main presant it was priced up at £50 and I allocate £100 each child at christmas so this was half of his money gone. I took it out of the box when I got back home to ensure it worked. The instructions were clear to understand with diagrams to help. 	Argos Value PVS3377 Portable ... little boy received this very portable DVD player for Christmas off my mother as he absolutely loves watching films and cartoons etc, it was the ideal present!! I now get to watch the TV in peace whilst my boy watches his films on this player! The built in battery only lasts between 1 ½ to 2 hours and when travelling, this can be quite awkward as it doesn t come with an in car charger, this has to be purchased separately. Although this only has a 7 inch screen, the picture on it is as clear as it would be on a large TV. It weighs approximately 840g so isn t heavy and won t make carrying around difficult. 	Argos Value Range DS-306A ... little badboy costs £14.59 at Argos, and if all you want is a simple DVD player then you can t go wrong with it. The silver little box (22.5cm wide, 23.5cm deep, 3.8cm high) comes with a remote control, and considering the cost its relatively aesthetically pleasing. I am yet to work out whether its switched on or off when the red light is on... but regardless, if you press play it seems to work. Its got a scart socket for connecting to your TV. The DVD tray itself does look pretty flimsy - you wouldn t want to hit it with anything. But DVDs is something it can certainly manage. I ve had absolutely no problems with it whatsoever.
