Acoustic Solutions 222-7 is a portable DVD Player. It come complete with earphones, a detachable rechargeable battery, a remote, an AC adaptor and a car adaptor, plus an instruction booklet.

The DVD Player itself is silver, quite light, it is 9" x 7" and is only 1.5" high when closed. The screen is 7" and totally flat so it's an enjoyable size to watch, not to small but still easy to carry around. On the DVD player itself there are controls for the menu, title, setup, display, skip forward & back, pause, stop, play, enter and up, down left and right. Whats more it has a 6 second antishock, perfect if, like me you often drop things. It has a very clear picture, better than some t.vs that I've had so I was quite impressed, also not only does it play DVDs but Cd's as well

The battery pack is about 2" high, it clips onto the back of the DVD Player, I have unfortunately found that once it's clipped on it takes me about 15 minutes to get it off because it sticks, rather annoying but to be honest there isn't really any need to take off the battery pack as it's needed to use the dvd Player anyway and it can be charged whilst attached.


The remote control which 2" x 4" and is almost completely flat. It has just about every control that you could need. It's in a nice shade of silver to match the DVD Player and the battery pack and it's keys are nice and smooth, they don't wear off easily.

The instruction Booklet is clear and easy to use but it doesn't contain much information and is only in English.

I think that this is a fantastic DVD PLayer, it only cost £64.99 from argos and is a great deal. My husband & I take it with us whenever we go on holiday, it's great for those rainy days when you're stuck in your caravan etc. Plus we've been using it for three months now since our DVD Player packed up. It's also really nice to sit and watch in bed if you just feel like not getting out. I really do recommend that you buy this DVD Player if you're looking for a great bargain or just something to watch DVD's on it's great value for money and its only faults are that the battery pack can be hard to get off and its volume doesn't go up very high despite it having two built in speakers.

Overall a fabulous buy.
